HUI Fader Problems aft upgrd - PTLE6.7 /XPSP2
I hope someone can help - and from checking out the Mackie site, I'm not the only one with the problem, but I haven't seen a definitive answer as of yet. When I first purchased my Mackie HUI, I was running PTLE 6.4, 002R, with Windows XP SP1, and had no problems. Being the "I want the newest" type of person, I recently upgraded to the new PTLE 6.7, and Windows XP SP2 with all the necessary patches and misc &%*% - now the HUI faders jump and jitter constantly, and when Itry to move them, they fight back. No where I've researched as of yet seems to have an answer. I'm about to reformat and install the old stuff unless someone has a better fix. I hate to think I wasted my money and time on what looks like a better PT version, but if it won't work with the HUI, I don't know that I have a choice but to regress.
Please help those of us out here just trying to make things work for the money we have to spend (which is limited for most of us) Thanks in advance for your help |
