Remove Current PT Version Before Updating?
Hello,
As I was attempting to install my PTLE 7.3 upgrade (7.1 is currently installed) I got a Windows XP prompt telling me to uninstall the current version of the software before proceeding. Is this normal? I can't even remember the last time I installed new software that required this to be done. The new version is usually smart enough to know which files to overwrite and which ones to leave alone. I'd really like to get a confirmation from someone before I continue. Thanks, EarBud

Yes it's ok, it's just the program you're uninstalling, none of your session files/MIDI/audio/fades etc. will be affected.
