Yes the sale is long gone...and yes I do I find it useful.

It adds a sheen and a colour to the track.

I find it nice, and use it sparingly but it does have its place.

There are people who swear by it. Myself I find it a useful addition to my saturation arsenal. Different plugins have differ processes that achieve different outcomes, but all resulting in additional harmonics to varying degrees.

So it's possible to have a few of these type of plugins in your spice rack which you would then use wherever appropriate to season to taste. Some recipes call for one type of seasoning, while another recipe could call for something else different altogether.
