Re: artist mix + digital performer = meters problem
Everything with El Capitan in it is crap basically so if you have the 10.11.X installed then no one here will be surprised. That OS is plagued with issues with PT and hardware from Avid, the two really can't get along and so updating to macOS Sierra would probably solve your issues. All IMNSHO of course

Re: artist mix + digital performer = meters problem
When you did the upgrade did you do an in-situ where you installed right over the top of your existing OSX? That's not a good thing. In either case did you do a clean install of all your programs or did you use Migration Assassin? The latter is also not a good thing. To get a good working install you need to install the new OSX on a clean system drive (or partition of your existing drive) and install everything from scratch. Only use MA or Time Machine to bring data over - nothing more.

Re: artist mix + digital performer = meters problem
No I did the upgrade from the appstore, I thought that was the cleanest way to do it...Am I wrong?
I don't have any partition on my internal HD (ssd/hd). I don't figure out to do what you describe. Seems to be a hard work, reinstall everything, plugins etc... just for my artit mix to work properly... May be better to get back to Capitan via my time machine savings, or find a yosemite system (which obviously works as I seen with my friends). |

Quote:
Partitioning a hard drive is easy as all the instructions are provided via the help function in OSX disk utility. ElCrapitan is the worst OSX version for audio recording compatibility. Either go above or below it. |
