Digi Rack 002 Firmware issue

I'm running Tiger, version 10.4.6 and I just reformatted.
I've got a digi 002 rack. I went out and bought the 7.1 update/upgrade.
The installer runs pretty well until its time to sync up with the rack hardware.
The rack makes a clicking sound, some of the sample rate LEDs light up for a
second (sometimes, but not always). Then I get the following error message:

Digi002 rack has system firmware version v1.20r which doesn't match the current system firmware version,
version v1.21r.

Then it prompts me to update and gives me an "update" option & a "later" option.
I've tried both options out and I get the following message:

Protools cannot communicate with Digi 002. "Please reconnect the unit and try again".

I've tried several firewire cables (including the original). I've looked all over for this
firmware but can't find it. Protools won't start without it.

What do I need to do?

You need to do one of two things:

1) Open your 002 and reseat the power harness or
2) call Digi and get a new power harness and install it yourself which is actually really easy to do.

Look up power harness in the answer base. Don't feel bad it's a very common problem with the 002's.
