Default Reason Sync light not coming on!

I'm attempting to sync reason on one box with Pro Tools on another box. I'm sending midi Beat Clock from PT to Reason and them are locked up according to my ears. Pressing start and stop does in fact control reason, however the midi sync light does not light up in the Reason transport...what's the deal??/

One other thing...if I attempt to use a PT Midi track to control reason the latency is unacceptable even at 128 buffer. However if I do all of my Reason sequencing in reason and just sync them up all is fine...what's the deal with that yo!
