Make PRE-ROLL stick in each pass in loop record mode?

pre-roll only kicks in on the first pass when you loop record multiple takes. But often i want to re record parts right inbetween other parts. having pre roll work on each pass would let me record just the part i want withought recording over the region before. Right now in order to give myself time for each pass i need to record over the previous region.

ANY IDEAS????
