TDM/Final Cut Pro/Core Audio Driver broken
PT 10.3 TDM Accel 3 - Mac Pro 5,1 12 core - 2.6 Ghz 48Gb Ram.
Core Audio Driver Broken by Mac OS 10.8? I have used PT 8 + 9 as the audio outputs for Final Cut Pro and Premier Pro for many years. When you choose the Digidesign HD hardware as your audio out from these apps, the core audio driver is used. Mac OS 10.8 appears to have broken this facility. Choose Digidesign Hardware in either app and immediately core audio driver crashes and this pulls down which ever app is active. This is 100 % repeatable despite reinstalls of all apps. Avid - Can this please be fixed quickly as I can only edit video in the studio using the Mac's line out and cannot get into my main audio monitors without a major replug.
