I see everyone with their pretty screen captures of their PT sessions... I have not a clue how to do this... can someone please tell me?
I dont really know why I want to do this, but.. its a curiosity to me.

This method used to work for me under Windows 95, but has never worked under W98. Is there an OS component that I didn't install or something?

Grab Hoversnap.
Freeware utility, very cool.
Allows you to do same screenshot as "normal" in XP, but also allows custom "lasso" of any particular section of desltop/apps/on top stuff.
Additiionally: Not only does it put the screenshot in the clipboard, it also allows you to set a directory, and have a jpg, you choose size, created instantly there.
In the prefs for the utility, it also allows you to choose a name for the screenshots, with the date/time appended to that "base name" for each shot. This way, you can do several screenshots back-to-back without stopping to paste out fo the clipboard.
