Default Odd correlation when using the faders in the Edit window and CPU Power outage.

Lately I've been mixing using the faders in the Edit window rather than the Mixing window and I've noticed that I have had an increased amount of the dreaded (AAE-9173) error (Pro Tools ran out of CPU power). I'm running 4Gb cache size with 512 samples and not that many plug ins.

I've just found it easier to mix while in the Edit window and wanted to know if there is something else to be done to decrease the error popping up.

Or am I completely misguided?

Thank you!

True dat.

I'm using a 2011 Mac running Sierra V10.12.6 / 16 GB memory > Pro Tools 12.4.0

That is unsupported configuration, I'm afraid.. Please take a look at compatibility info here.

I've been using the same config for a while, so I don't see why this is being affected now.
