Of course it's worth a little chuckle but.....

we all know that the better the input, the better the output.

So.... regardless of the end distribution method, what we do at each step along the way MATTERS.

And that's not stating that the MP3 format is actually a dying format. The amount of spaces a cell phone, let alone a portable music player can hold now has pushed many distributor to offer close to or true lossless (24 bit 48+ and up khz) downloadable files for the songs that are sold in their stores, and it's gaining in popularity.

It's always been like that. Which is better, earbuds, the headphones that came with a walkman, or the little mono speaker in the kind of record player a teen might have in the 60's? They're all crap.
