Default Creating Drum Kits in Xpand! 2

I'm running the last version of PT LE 8 on a macbook pro.

I never even knew what Xpand was till a few days ago, and I'm pretty encouraged byt what I see. However I don't quite understand the relationship between the "Selectors" and the drum kits.

For instance, I'd like to take, say, the "Warm Kit", and swap out one of the snares for another that's on the selector list. Or, beyond that, I'd probably at some point create or modify an entire kit myself.

Can anyone at least get me started on these processes? I poked around and saw that maybe the transpose plus or minus can help, but when I click on that box, nothing happens.

thanks and sorry if this is a little muddled-sounding. I'm just starting to try to figure it out!

Initialize the Preset and dive into each Category Selector to select a Part that represents your chosen sound. Remember Pro Tools does not limit the amount of Xpand! instantiations. Secondly, Pro Tools 8 and higher supports Superimposed MIDI Editing in MIDI Editor Windows. So layering multiple instantiations of Xpand! over separate Instrument tracks is super easy.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot. I have a feeling I'll have at least one more question but I wanted to say thanks for the response before I get lost again.
