Default Midi Latency Problem welcome back in 12.6 :(

I would love that someone from Avid could jump in and tell us why this is broken. They will fix it? Do they know whats happening?

Please Avid, I don't want to fill a tech ticket about this, its being reproduced by many users.

Hopefully we will not have to wait for any other issues to be bundled up with this one and resolved in an 12.6.1 update which could be months away. This should be treated as foundation functionality that just has to be right in any DAW.

It's been weekend... I'm sure they fix this problem asap. The problem is that the midi clip are not moved back by the delay compensation current value after recording.

Bug confirmed - not good. I agree this should be fixed and pushed out quickly. My subscription is due to renew in about a week and I'm still on the fence.

Mine renew on December!

I don't think we're gonna see a new update this year.

I'm back to 12.5.2

-- Sorry! And thanks for reporting it here. I can't tell you why it's broken yet but we will begin investigating immediately this week. We will fix this in a future release as soon as we can.

Thanks Conner, much appreciated.

I think most of us can get by with earlier releases until you can dive into this.

Again, Thanks.
