Default PT Cloud Collaboration: Can't invite anyone to project

Hi everyone!

When I create a new project into the Avid cloud (PT 12.5 Native, upgrade plan active) and try to invite a friend who is using PT 12.5 HD, his username is greyed out and it says "This project is already full. You can't invite anyone."

He can invite me from his system and then we can collab.

Avid, it seems that you really have to iron out the quirks. People are getting angry, impatient and annoyed - for a good reason.

OS X 10.11.4 (El Capitan)
Pro Tools 12.5 (Native)

This friend would be me. Hannu, was it so that you had a PT|first account activated before CC was released?

Many others have also apparently had difficulties coming from 1st to CC.

This guy can't get rid of the old projects created in 1st

This guy has used 3/3 projects but 0% storage space used

There are others too, but just to name a few...

All of you just create a SR and let Avid Support fix the accounts.

(always nice quoting oneself)

...and also report your similar problems to this thread as I have escalated this to Avid SuperMods' attention.

Cloud Collaboration is not yet rolled out to Pro Tools | First, I don't believe... http://www.avid.com/en/pro-tools/compare

Doesn't matter. People who started on PT|1st might have their 3/3 projects used and once started with CC they cannot create new projects. There is something funky, I just don't know what.

Hello jamalcom x,

Your account shows you have Pro Tools First. What version do you have installed?

Please launch Pro Tools First and Sign Out then Sign In again. Reply back if you are unable to solve this.

Best regards,
JC
