Default Avid ! ! !! I love u ! ! !

Oh My Gosh ! ! !

I was gonna grab some new hardware pronto, but, now I need to buy a ring first!

WILL U MARRY ME !? !? Please? I'm Cute ! hahahhahaaaa

Dope move! Dope.

I think my personal fav's are the completely non destructive capabilities in edit - changed fades - and the cacheing! By far the cacheing! My sessions are HUGE

Well done! Can't wait to shop! Hoping HDN Cards will be compatible with it for some time.
That's where I'm going. HDN, Mac Pro, Lots of RAM, HD10. Yes.

There will be a lot of questions after that... like what are the 40 other features they mentioned, lol.

Does external RAM hosting mean plugins share the RAM, or is that still limited to the 4GB cap for PT?

But I have to say... the voice limit bump is insane. Pretty much what I expected.

The Disk Cache is for media held outside of PT. They said this at the tech preview.

I NEEEEDED the cacheing in RAM. SICK.

My workflow is gonna kick ass from that!

I do a ton of edit in 60ish track sessions all the time, and pushing my 64 limit with 8 right now.

Also, all the fast start stop crap was being delayed by drive access.

I will be SO MUCH FASTER in 10.

Good lord, I'm excited.

If I can get a new HDN Card with a 10 License I'm in!!!!!

So no TDM...let's all guess how much money we'll have to spend to upgrade our TDM plugs....

Let's also guess how compatible old format sessions are going to be.

I personally will not upgrade until every TDM plug I own is working reliably with the new format...which I'm guessing will be a year.

64 ch of I/O per card, with a max of 256, so 4 cards I suppose is the limit.

TDM and RTAS are both still available in PT10.

It's exactly why it isn't 64 bit.

Only audio is cached to RAM - plugins, including VI's, are still limited to 4GB.

Yes, I know - not what you wanted to hear but (as you say) trust me - there are major 'under the hood' changes that had to be made, including some 'over the hood' features you're seeing in PT10, to get to full 64 bit support for plug-ins.
