I think it means 'technical group'; a hardware development group within Abbey Roads Studios.

Is today still today?!?!! Damn I got to really got check this out. Man I'm like a kid in a candy store when it comes to these things.

Make sure you all watch out for the V9-V10 trap where you end up accidentally having two versions of the same plugin installed. Be mindful of what you do during the installation process.

Yup. Got caught in that trap on my OSX 10.10.5 partition. The OSX 10.12.6 partition is working just fine (so far).
