El Capitan and Mbox 2 Drivers.

Darryl - My POS Sorbent USB adapter has an input and is recognized by PT1st. But not in PT1st But when trying to record PT1st defaults to built-in microphone and I can't get it to recognize what AVID's Hardware Panel does.
The USB interface works fine in GarageBand and Logic - - so I am back to waiting on the MBox driver. I am not going back to Yosemite. I just won't use ProTools for now.

I am using the version 9 stand alone driver Found here:

Running Mac OS 10.10.5 and PT 11... working well.

I have an iMac 2015, El Capitan, an Mbox2 (2008ish) and Logic P X. I did installed the drivers by downloading from Avid. Mbox2 is not found in my computer, I went to System Preferences>Audio>Input and..nothing to be found is there anything am I missing? My Mbox2 is registered I originally got it with Protools, but not using PT anymore. Is impossible to contact Avid unless you have the paid support service. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

You could upgrade to El Capitan and continue using Mbox 2 with a dual boot setup.
