Default Plug-In Options

Good morning to all...... I know the DVerb plug-in that comes with PTMP, is a CPU hog, as is Amplitube2, the IK Multimedia Amplifier plug-in. My question is about plug-in options for these two that aren't such CPU hogs yet do the job! What has worked well, does the job, and might even be reasonable as far as the cost? Thanks

McDSP's stuff is pretty CPU friendly
Chrome Tone and Revolver might be worth demoing.

Default Re: Plug-In Options

I just got The Focusrite Scarlett Plug-In but have not used it yet but for the $99.00 price I paid for the bundle it was well worth it just to have a different Reverb so IM not using the DVerb and Air Reverbs all the time. As for DVerb being a CPU hog I beleive all Plug-Ins are CPU hogs. If you are truly Mixing your songs your going to be using pretty mush some Plug-In on very Track or have the Track Buss to an Aux Track with EQ and or Compression on every Track for Mix seperation. So my advise is get all the plug-ins you can afford and use them as much as you need until you decide you need more CPU power or an HD system.
