Default Mavericks 10.9.4 or 10.9.5

It's impossible to get Mavericks 10.9.3 since June 29th.
Anyone wanting to update to Mavericks from 30 June-today cannot get an approved version of PT11 to run. Nearly 3 months.
Please qualify a version of PT11 for the current version of mavericks so we can at least have it for a week or two before Yosemite is introduced.

No it is not, but it has not been made easy. That's why one should always read PT compatibility documents before upgrading/updating anything

I haven't upgraded from Snow Leopard, but I'd like to.
Is there a way?

Copy all data to external drive, erase your current system drive, install OSX Mavericks

Working just fine over here. That said, if you google apple.com nicely enough, you will get older 10.9.x too

"Fine here" does not = Avid approved

I can find 10.9.3 easily enough but ones OS has to already be Mavericks to go to it.

From snow leopard I can't see an official way.

I'm not with my computer right now (tapatalk) but I am quite confident you should be able to find a 10.9.0 full installer

I've been on 10.9.4 for about 3 weeks now, its what came installed on the new trash can Mac.

I haven't seen any problems with 11.2.1. In fact it runs more solid than any version I've used for a while.

All of the issues I have had are with Mavericks itself and Apples ridiculous new 'Nanny' policy towards users. Hiding folders, sleeping apps, changing things that have worked great for years and nobody's asked for, alerts you don't need, annoying permissions changes, once you get all that rubbish turned off it works well.

I also run 10.3.9, although I doubt that will ever be qualified.
I keep it on a separate boot disk for when I need a session with RTAS plugins.

Can't get 10.9.0 from apple. Maybe from a torrent. Not too keen on that.

Don't get me wrong, user reports seem to suggest that 10.9.4 is fine (obviously 10.9.5 is what I'd get now but that's a different story). But it's a bit of a joke that Avid can't approve it. I'm pretty sure a new macpro would come with 10.9.4 or 10.9.5 meaning you couldn't run an approved version if you wanted to. For three months.
