DJ Mixing Best Setting Maybe?
I'm still new to pro tools LE, and have a question...
which way is the best way to record mixes aka mixtapes on PT LE....? mono or stereo? and do i have to set up a compressor on a aux track like the way u do with vocals? also are there any sites with photos or screenshots of like tutorials i hate to read alot it gives me migraines lol...but yea any help is appreciated as always btw this place roxx!! |

You should record to stereo tracks in protools.
Your compressor would most likely be effective inserted on the master fader (which you need to create in the new track pop up) Also, it's not generally a great idea to use compressors on auxillaries in any situation, though there are exceptions. Lay of the cough medicine and you may find the migraines subside while reading |
