These sorts of threads are useless and probably glossed over by Avid. Why don't you say exactly what MIDI improvements you want? Off the top of my head, a built-in virtual midi keyboard that you can call up instantly like in Logic is looooong overdue and would be awesome.

Honestly, if Avid wants to stay relevant in the audio world, they HAVE to implement better midi editing and capabilities, not loops. I do a lot of film/video composing, and when I watch reviews of new VSTs or Kontakt libraries, I'm always jealous of whichever DAW they're using.
I don't have the time nor energy to learn a new program like I know Pro Tools. And maybe thats what Avid is counting on. But it would just feel nice to be taken care of. |
