PT6 and HTDM

Is HTDM supported in PT6? I thought it used DirectConnect.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Yes, HTDM is supported in PT6. Though, you've got the dependency reversed -- DirectConnect depends on HTDM. DirectConnect also depends on a couple of other (internal) things, which weren't finished in time for the PT6 release.

When DirectConnect shows up, will it be faster than it is now (I can never get the 128 version to work reliably)? Will this be the way that Logic integrates with PT hardware? Or is there something better coming? I can't make the jump to OSX without Logic being able to work with PT.
