EuControl 19.12 responsiveness/lag

Ya, I may have been premature in thinking it was ok. Started a little mix today and I'm getting the same behaviour, takes 2-3 seconds to start writing any kind of automation. Also seeing the same behaviour on the Dock transport hitting play and stop.

Instead of uninstalling/remove prefs + reinstalling, seems like quitting Eucontrol, removing pref file (myhomefolder/Library/Preferences/Euphonix/Eucontrol.cfg), and restarting Eucontrol is enough to get back responsiveness.

Also, still have to look further into this, but it also seems like touching some Eucontrol preferences triggered the issue. Not sure which particular preference though...sorry...crossing my fingers for version 20.1.

Multiple Solo button presses are VERY LAGGY from S1. When soloing 4 mono tracks from the S1, the solo lights take 4-5 seconds to light up on the S1, while in Protools, the delay is about 1 second for each track to have the solo button light up.

If theres any way you could find what pref causes this it would really help.

I have replicated this...

- close EuControl
- delete EuControl.cfg
- re-open EuControl
- in EuControl > Surfaces, Add your surfaces to My Surfaces and don't do anything else
- in ProTools, allow surface to connect, then verify responsiveness is correct (press play, then press a track mute button on/off)
- in EuControl, simply click the Soft Keys tab
- in ProTools press play and press a track mute button on/off and see that the responsiveness is now gone

I've tested this a number of times now with a fader mute and a send mute and it happens every time.

Curious to see if others can do the same.

Thanks for the great repro steps. Unfortunately that doesnt do it on my system. Can you tell me what you have in your My Surface list and the order they are in ?
