Audio dropouts at 48k
Using a new HDX PT11 setup today and had a strange problem. If we made a session with a sample rate of 48, 96 or 192k the input from our desk would intermittently drop out, It sounded like the clock source was set incorrectly. Checked the clock and it was set to Internal, same as it always was. If we went 44.1, 88.2 or 176.4, all was fine! Tried using both HDi/o units as the loop master and the problem occurred on both.
Anyone come across that before? All our PT10 HD systems are fine and as far as I can tell, our other HDX PT11 system is fine. Dodgy card maybe? Cheers. |

Re: Audio dropouts at 48k
Is the desk analog or digital? Are all your loop BNC connections good? Maybe try swapping in a new BNC cable?

Re: Audio dropouts at 48k
Hi Albee,
Desk is Analogue, SSL AWS924. I'll check the BNC connections when I can next get in. I thought it might be a dodgy cable, strange that it's just started to go but I guess these things will happen at some point! Cheers |
