Pro tools 10 Error Image corrupted
Hello Avid community, I'm having a problem downloading pro tools 10. The error is as follows: Pro_Tools_10.3.10_Mac.image data corrupted.
My system is as follows: OS: High Sierra MacBook Pro (Early 2011) Processor 2.7 GHz intel Core i7 Memory: 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB My Pro tools product is as follows: Perpetual Product Standard support Education Active I have searched google high and low, tried reinstalling pro tools multiple times, uninstalling PT12 and then installing 10 to no avail. Pro tools 10 did work on my old OS so I'm thinking it could be High Sierra at fault but I also came across Avid devs handing out links to people with the same problem. Anyone with any advice or solutions would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance. -J.M |

Re: Pro tools 10 Error Image corrupted
Even if you could get PT10 downloaded and installed it won't run right. There's a whole host of issues with the blank insert menus thing, importing audio via the drop down menu, etc.
I have to ask - you have PT 12 why do you need PT10? If you really need to run PT 10 split your system drive into two partitions and put OSX 10.8.5 on there to run PT 10 and leave the High Sierra partition alone. Partitioning is easily done inside OSX. |
