Missing output when open new session

Hi guys
I got a very strange problem.

I create a new stereo session, let's called " stereo".
Its I/O looks like this





And then close session, create a 5.1 session. Let's called "5.1"
Its I/O looks like this





then I close 5.1, open stereo session
It pops up this





and its output tab become like this





How should I solve this ?


OSX 10.12.6
Pro Tools 2018.12 ultimate

Yes, absolutely
But why would this happen and how can I avoid this ?
Actually I make few pair sub path at output tab, but remake every time, and re-map on Bus tab.

Have you tried the "Show Last Saved Setup" and "Restore from Session" buttons?

If this is really a big problem for you, then just do the obvious and export your .pio and import when needed

No, I’ll try it.

So this is a default setting( missing output) at pro tools will happen on everyone ?

Hard to say why your session has problems with it, but unfortunately it is not so uncommon to have problems with IO setup. Just learn how it works.

Try the “restore from session” button. pretty good to use. It’s hard to find the reason why happening this, so I give up, press the button is the best solution.
