akai mpk mini

please explain to me how to setup and operate the akai Mpk mini with protools le 8. the software downloaded sucessfully, the pc accepted the hardware saying successful. but when i try to use in protools in the midi studio setup i cant find the keyboard model which is MPKmini. I see AKAI but not the other part. ive never used a keyboard with protools so i dont even know how to sync it with a track; and what type of track should it be?im using a
3GBsdRAM,250 GBHDD AMD Turion X2dual core mobile processor Toshiba satallite laptop. i have a class project due and i gotta do something can you please help me
