Extra Harddisk on my Intel iMac/Digi002R advise
Hi,
I thought that this subject would be discussed over and over again, but i couldn't find it..... I've got an Intel iMac with internal 250 G S-ATA drive. I've got an Digi002R I want to add an extra HDD for audio recording. What is the best choice? A USB2 of FireWire drive? I mean for performance etc. I can imagine that FireWire makes FireWire full loaded / congested...or isn't that thru? PC --> Digi002R --> HDD Thanks for the advise! Regards, Jeroen |

Re: Extra Harddisk on my Intel iMac/Digi002R advise
You should have multiple firewire ports on your iMac, ideally you would attach your drive to one of those, but you can daisy chain the drive and 002 if need be. There's a zillion previous threads about firewire drive recommendations, try using the search feature of the forum, you'll find there's plenty of info available.
