TC Reader on Sync I/O
I'm trying to read TC from DigiBeta. TC is connected to TC in on Sync I/O.
When ProTools is running, and I'm connected to a digideck, I can not get the Sync I/O to go to TC reader mode. When PT is not running, I can manually switch the I/O to reader mode but as soon as I boot PT and connect to a machine, the I/O switches back to generator and I can't change it with the I/O software. Where in the software do I go to put the Sync I/O in reader mode. thanks, S Last edited by Steve Zipper; 01-16-2009 at 11:13 AM. Reason: add more info |

Re: TC Reader on Sync I/O
In software prior to version 8 you'll find a generator checkbox it in the session setup screen (command-2, "2" on the numeral pad only). In PT8 it has been moved to a button that is visible when you display synchronization buttons on the toolbar. To turn synchronization buttons on, look for a small arrow on the extreme right of the toolbar, inside that is a selection for synchronization buttons. When that is checked on the buttons are added to your toolbar, now make sure the "LTC" button is turned off (grey=off, blue=on)
