002 trade in

Does Digi take the 002 mixer in as exchange for a upgrade to 003 rack? I can't seem to find the exchange price between these two items.... maybe I need new glasses??

Just curious here but, what are you expecting to gain? Giving up the control surface may be a step back(just an opinion) and adding external mic preamps sort of negates much of the sonic difference. Now if you were going for the 003 controller, that is a step up.

I need Digi's 003R and I have a 002 mixer that I hope to exchange for the 003R. Digi..do you do this type of exchange?

Your 002 is effectively worth nothing. Focus on finding the very best audio interface for your needs/budget. That is unlikely to be a product from Avid.

All the usual suspects: UAD, Apogee, Motu, Focusrite, RME, Presonus, ...
