plug ins

Hi there,

I am getting a control 24 with an HD3 in the next month and I was wondering how much control over the synth plug ins I will have through the control 24. Will all the controls for virus etc come across the control 24 channel strip so I can use all the knobs and buttons to control all the parameters like most plug ins or will I still have to use the mouse, I am als getting soft Sample Cell and I was wondering the same thing.
I am sure you can do all of this but I wasn't absolutely sure.

Any comments?

Yes,Virus and most plug ins work very well with the C24 - knobs for just about everything. Soft Sample Cell though runs as a separate program and so there is only mouse control for that. There is only the direct connect plug in window used within PT when you access SSC and that has very few options (i/o channel etc).

That helps a lot and it is what I expected. I would love to be able to gain control over any of my synths through control 24. I know I can gain control over most of my synths filters with my CS2X but how cool would it be to have a plug in that could put the user inputs of most common interfaces directly from Control 24. Same with SSC. Anyway I am excited as hell about the new rig. By the way, I plan to bring my synths into the submixer and then output them all to the D96 through the submix outs is this what you guys do?
