Default Best grand piano for Reason\'s NNXT?

The factory one is pretty good, but has anybody found a better acoustic grand piano for the NNXT sampler in Reason? Thanx.

There is a good one for free called splendid_256.sf2 that you can use in the NNXT - BUT, if you are searching for something good I don't think you will be satisfied until you get Ivory 1.52 from Synthogy.
It's here

Thanx for the reply, but the I could not find the "splendid" one, at least not with google... I'm really looking for the best grand piano for the NNXT specifically. Anyone?

I'm only a piano noodler at best but I've personally never liked any piano in Reason, while not the best, Sampletanks are better, IMO.

Yes Sampletank/Sonik Synth does have better Pianos by far. I always found the stock Reason pianos to sound like toys. Here's probably the cheapest piano refill that is quality(some of these are sort of in Sonik Synth2)

I had done some demos for this series, but not this exact library. Scottedog if you have a referral code you should share it here so he can get a discount.

Well my friend, you have 650 more posts than I do here, it's my gift to you. Besides i'm not one for eSoundz points as much as the rest of the gang is

But honestly back on topic, I don't even know of another piano refill, most refills are geared towards bizarre synths and beats so it's kind of interesting that Sonic Reality has all these. There is one refill I found for $200 by SoundLabel called Piano Attack but it's what the title implies, a prepared piano that has been tortured John Cage style.

Not really sure what you meant by THAT, but Sonic Reality is renowned for their piano sampling sessions, they've even done some sounds for Alicia Keys to play in her Motif. The funny thing is when I tried to do another search of piano refills for you I found another one by them! http://m-audio.com/products/en_us/Pr...iano-main.html

So other than that next one I can't help you, but one thing to consider doing is if you know of a great piano in another format you can use a conversion program to bring it into NN-XT- Chicken Sys Translator, CDXtract, etc.

(All I meant was that someone suggested the CHEAPEST grand piano, and I'm looking for the BEST!!!)

I'll try to check out the above suggested pianos at a store. Has anyone personally used the above
suggestions? I guess I'm looking for some actual user feedback of the best currently availiable grand piano for Reason's NNXT sampler. Great idea about the sample conversion. Which piano to convert for BEST grand piano result in Reason's NNXT?? Thanx for all the help. Go forum!!!
