Default Waves updated to v9r18, Vitamin added

Vitamin is a multiband harmonic exciter, included in the update for those of you who own select bundles.

http://www.waves.com/plugins/vitamin

$99 ($85 at discount retailers) for those who buy separately.

Next up: Waves Mineral, a distortion plug-in for guitars designed to add more "rock" feel to your tracks.

Anyone try this out yet? How do you feel it compares to other similar tools, like Ozone's harmonic exciter?

Hi

We have a Gold bundle left on one of the computers and it says it is included in the Gold version but as we bought ours 4 yrs ago it isn't included in our bundle is it? And if it is what other plugins might we have missed that wasn't included when we got our bundle? It there a way to tell which plugins are included in gold and which we can download that will authorize on our cloud license?

All this Waves stuff is soooo convoluted and hard to grasp nowadays it isn't even worth it anymore ...

Thanks for any input here friends

Best Regards
Christopher

The email I got said that it is part of the gold bundle.

" Vitamin is available separately as well as in the following bundles: Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Horizon, Mercury, Prelude, Essentials, Pro Show, and SD7 Pro Show. Owners of these bundles with current Waves Update Plan coverage can update now to receive Vitamin at no additional cost."

As for the other plugins that have been added over the years, that I do not know.

If you can wait until Platinum is on sale, it may be not much more to upgrade to that, rather than WUP. That will bring everything up to date as well.

Hey Friends

Thank you soo much for that info As we along with lots of other members felt screwed over as we have Mercury bundle aswell, we have lost track regarding the updates of Waves bundles but now that AAX is working we have started to use those bundles again.

Just a quckie : Neve eq and comp - You mean the V Series there correct?

Thanks again for the help

Christopher

Edit : we have WUP'ed both Mercury and Gold a few months ago but I haven't updated to V9r18 yet as we have r17 still so maybe the Vitamin plugin will appear automatically when updated to V9r18

When in doubt, you can check the product page for Waves bundles, there will be a list shown at the bottom. They really should have a PDF or something, though.

Actually, Platinum was on sale last month. Diamond is on sale this month though.

Yeah, but it will come around again. I'm just pointing out that with the sales, it's usually not that much more to upgrade vs. paying WUP, and upgrading WUPs everything anyway.

I've tried it and I like it. It's subtle enough for the 2bus.
