S1/EuControl sleep mode - requires restart

I'm finding that if I'm away from the computer for some time, the S1 will go into sleep mode (OLEDs go into screen saver mode) - and EuControl will disconnect (EC icon in menubar will dim - turn gray instead of stay black).

Re-establishing the S1/EuControl connection requires that I reach around the back and cycle the power switch (soft switch) off, then on again. (Restart EuCon Applications does nothing). And EuControl must be active (black icon) BEFORE I switch on the S1.

Having to do this several times during the course of a day doesn't seem right.

Is this normal behavior? Ethernet/networking issue? (S1 is direct into ethernet port on back of the iMac)

This is not the S1 going into sleep (only the OLED's do that) I wonder if either your WS is sleeping too or the Ethernet Adapter is going into power saving mode. In the next release we have some new firmware that will help this reconnect better/quicker after things like this.
