Melodyne Essential Activation Nightmare

Hi Everyone,

I've just purchased Pro Tools 9 , one of the included plugins I was most excited about was Melodyne Essential and yet it is virtually impossible to get a serial number which is needed to authorize it.

I have registered Pro Tools 9 with Avid but did not receive any third party content serial or activation codes.

I have seen the other threads on this forum which say that you need to go to the Avid site and go to get the third party contents numbers- however when I go to the Products Not Yet Downloaded section of my account - it says No Products Found.
I have contacted Celemony who say that it is up to Avid to provide the number.
I am so bored of constantly going back and forth just to authorize a plug in which and just want to get on with some work. Please help Avid!

I suggest you get auto tune and use the groove3 tutorials with it. Or better Brian White at Lynda.com
Never liked Melodien essential. Industry standard is Auto Tune. eAsy to use.

The Melodyne Essential plugin is not included in Pro Tools 9. There may have been conflicting information in that respect - I'm not sure where you read that it was included but, if you can let me know, I'll make sure that the info is corrected.
