thats right.
Im now getting used to clicking the irritating warning... about 200 times a day!

A client asked if we need a faster computer. I told him we have the fastest MAC on earth.
So........

You would think an operation that was easy to execute 7 years ago on a TDM system could be comleted today with the fastest gear available.

Hmmmm

Still hate those TOGGLING TOOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MERCY HECkFIRE!!!! FIX IT!

Which 'irritating error' are you referring to, specifically?

He probably means the "elastic audio error", I´m not in front of my rig and don´t remember the exact words,
but it´s been there since 7.4 and I´m having it , too. About 20 to 30 times a day.

I believe he's talking about the -9473 errors we're still getting when trying to apply fades and such DURING playback.

Don't you mean '9073'? Or do you really mean '9473'?

The 9073 error we know about - and I'm assuming your workflow is such that you need to apply and hear fades on the fly, yes?

If not, checking "Pause During Playback' in the Tasks window should eliminate or at least reduce the number of 9073 errors.

Yes, a vital requirement.

I really meant 9473. In fact, I forced PT to report the error as I was writing the reply post. I selected several regions during playback, applied fades and then playback stopped and reported the 9473 error.
