Question Copy Plugin automation impossible

I can't copy/paste Special plugin automation from a aux mono track to a aux stereo tracks

I select with one automation from the plugin/ copy special
then go to the other track, same plug ( but stereo aux track) same preset/ Paste special..... To current automation type is not available

Try holding control when you paste. Command C to copy the automation then Control V to paste.

No problem. That drove me crazy too. You figure it would work the way that you first tried, but it doesnt.
