time-sensitive help needed re bit rate
we are in mid-project and one of the people involved says the files I'm outputting are too big for her application to handle. What's the lowest bit rate people feel comfortable with (constant bit rate) when bouncing to mp3 format ? What kinds of bitrates are you guys (and gals) using for mp3 audio to be streamed from a web page? thanks, gotta shrink these files but don't want the audio quality to suffer appreciably. . .

Re: time-sensitive help needed re bit rate
-If your talking "kbps (kilobits per second I think)", I don't like the quality of anything less than 192. But I'm a picky engineer type too! I know people that regularly download and listen to 128kbps, though...hope this helps...
