Events Bug in 2.9
I'm currently running 2.9.1.269, and this bug was also in the initial 2.9 release. Whenever I assign an event to a specific input channel, the event will not follow the channel when moved. For example, on our VENUE used for Monitors, I have a talkback mic patched to an input, and an event set to open and close the mic whenever the footswitch is pressed down. If I move that channel, the event does not follow that channel. It will now control the input channel that is literally in the same position as the previous channel was in.
I've also noticed an events bug as follows... If I set an event to mute all stage outputs via a function switch, then move a channel, it will mute all stage outputs and not unmute them until I hit that function switch or deactivate the event. The problem does not happen with the event deactivated, but the problem continually happens if the event is active. Any thoughts? Thanks! |

Re: Events Bug in 2.9
Hi,
Yes, this does seem to be the wrong behavior. We've logged this as an issue. One workaround is to assign the talkback input to an unused FX channel. FX are always fixed in position and shouldn't be affected by moving other input channels around. Sheldon |
