Default Bounce volume

Hi,
I´ve seen this problem all around the internet but can´t manage to fix it. When I bounce my mix (usually in 16 bit 44100 hz) I loose a LOT of volume, you may be thinking it´s a matter o mastering, but no. Even when I master it and try to get those extra db with the limiter and compressor I have the same problem.
I´ve even try to really crank up the limiter to get it real loud, to the point I couldn´t listen to it without hurting my ears, and when I bounce it, it looses all that volume.
Hope someone can help me

Check your routing in the session - maybe you're missing something. And rather than bounce try recording the session output to an audio track in the same session and see how that works. Never been a fan of bouncing as it's too easy for something to screw up.

How are you listening to the bounced file? Could the volume drop be the fault of your playback program? My Bounced files always sound the same

You could try the above, then export and compare that to your bounce to see if there's an issue.
Unless something is not set up proper, the bounce should be what's coming through your master channel. gl
