That must be one of the cheapest AAX-DSP plugins in existence!

So, does it sound good? If it does an AAX DSP version of anything is a huge plus in this day and age of not enough of the afore mentioned.

It sounds decent. I've used it on a couple of tunes. I've had it as part of the MH Production Bundle for a year or two now. Most of what I do is live recordings, so I tend to grab IR-1 rather than algorithm reverbs.

is it an alogo? thought they mention 'impulse' in one of the descriptions somewhere and it has a waveform and tail in the graph for adjusting. i know it is not a user defined convolver but possibly a hybrid?

I'll admit that I guess I don't know. I always thought it was an algorithm reverb, the description on the MH website says:
Quote:
...the HaloVerb plugin expands on the great algorithmic sound to give you more flexibilty and control. Use the reverb impulse to see the reverberant field as you make adjustments, or hide the graphics and let your ears be your guide.
So it kind of sounds like both? Maybe it is a hybrid?

not sure myself but right above the waveform on the graph it states "Reverb Impulse" so i take it that it is a hybrid. it is supposed to be an emulation of their hardware verb i think and they probably use select impulses in it. who knows? either way it ain't real bad on the cpu and sounds decent enough for tracking. so it is well worth the $21.25 @ audiodeluxe cheers
