Mbox 2 Pro, Macbook Pro Overheating Issues
I own an mbox 2 pro and I am running logic 9 on my new macbook pro i7..
The mbox is causing my laptop to overheat ridiculously. I know this because once i plug it in the temp monitors indicates 150 degrees F and once i pull it out the computer cools down. I already bought an express card to allow dedicated power for my mbox and hard drive seperately. I am powering the mbox using a fire 400 to 800 cable. Is anyone having this problem? Its seriously killing me right now! Ive already had my old laptop croak because of this issue, which explains my new laptop replacement! I could definitely have broken mbox.. please if anyone has any suggestions/advice I would greatly appreciate it.. |
