You say you have the correct driver but you don't. The picture shows the mixer for the 3rd gen Mbox Pro, not the Mbox 2.

Look here for Mbox 2 drivers.

Look here for Mbox 2 Pro drivers.

But, if I remember correctly, the LE installer will install the driver that you need for the Mbox 2. First, uninstall whatever Pro Tools you have on your computer. Then, go here and download the 8.0.4 full installer and the 8.0.5 updater. http://secure.digidesign.com/service...rticleId=43353

After installing 8.0.4, run it so you can enter your auth code. Once authorized, then you can update to 8.0.5. Follow the installer prompts to unplug/plug in your insterface as directed.

Ignore my previous advice about reinstalling 8LE. If it's working, it's working. All you should do is uninstall the Mbox3 driver.

If you've already installed any of the Mbox 2 drivers from the download page, you'll need to do the Pro Tools reinstall thing to go back.

The independent drivers are not compatible with Pro Tools 8LE. Go back to square one and only install the driver that comes with the LE installer.

You said you have 8LE right? Do you have an authorization code for 8LE in your Avid account? If so you can download the 8LE installers on the page I linked above.
