Help with Bomb Factory essential clip remover
Had a question or two about this plug. I've used it in the past with good success, but something new cropped up. I started as I always do by lowering the overall level so it has room to redraw/restore. What I end up with is only the positive portion of the audio restored and the negative portion is still clipped. I had thought to make a copy, invert, restore and combine the two, BUT it still only restores the "positive" portion even though it is now the negative portion. The audio I'm working on is a live recording. Yeah, I can break out the Wacom and redraw the clips, but I would rather not. Any thoughts on a work around or how to get BFECR to work as in the past? I'm running 7.4 on a G4 MDD, OS 10.4.11. Thanks in advance for any help.
