Default BUMPING OUT AAF's test they dont work

Hi all

Need some help, trying to bump out an aaf for client delivery for mix, when I try to import the file after bounce to test. The file which are not expected size I get the " Not a Pro Tools Session or OMFi file" error. Its obvious to me its not completing encoding of the AAF. but is there something I could be doing wrong as it seems I am doing as I always do. Client wants an AAF can I give him an OMF will that work with pyramix and what is the difference. Obviously I would like to give him the AAF if possible. AAF bouncing out at 1.99 gb I would expect at least 10gb.Any advice very welcome I have to move onto efx edit on another show in the morning and have only 4 days to deliver so I can waste time.

Kind regards

Tried bumping out just a couple of tracks that seems to work but when I do say 10 it creates an unusable aaf that will not import.

Seems I cant get the AAF's over 2gb in size. I a sing 12.7 could it be an issue in that version?? all my drives are formatted NTFS thought file size might be an issue.

Is there a reason to not simply send consolidated audio files with the same starting point?

In Post Production you don't send consolidated files. We need handles on clips.

Don't embed the audio and you should be fine.

the aaf in 2 halfs and they both worked. Any how just before I knocked like 2am thought I might bump out a full session aaf, ofcourse it ask for the place to install the audio files but |I had turned the screens off. In the morning resumed that but now protools hangs when importing aafs doh! I even tried a few aaf's that I know work... same thing. So I trashed prefs... same thing.

Now I am repairing Protools using windows add/remove/repair but looks like I need to uninstall and reinstall. Damn
