Chaining 003 to Lavry A/D Converter
I want to try out the converters in a Lavry DA10 and hooked it up to the 003 via SPDIF. I could not seem to find any info on how to get the change over into the software. Any suggestions?
Thanks. PT10.3.3

Re: Chaining 003 to Lavry A/D Converter
You need to determine which device will be the master clock (done in Setup>Hardware menu).
Note: You may have to make it the 003, as I don't know if the DA10 can be set to be the master clock. If it can, then definitely use the DA10. Other than that, you will need to, on every track output in Protools that would normally go to your main outs, select the Spdif outs in addition to the main outs. If forget exactly how to select more than one output, I'm pretty sure you press the shift button first. In addition, your master fader track would also be set to Spidf as the output. |
