Default RME Fireface UFX

Hi all,

I realise that Pro Tools 9 should work with any ASIO-compliant hardware, but has anyone had any direct experience running PT9 with an RME Fireface UFX on Windows 7? It's time for an upgrade ...

Thanks,

David

Hi,
Not UFX but the fireface 400. Those interfaces really work well on windows 7. I'm using the 64 bit version. I think their is a firewire update or fix you need to install but I never did. I was still able to run at 64 sample buffers with no issues. Totally reliable and stable. I think the largest sessions I mixed where 150 or 160 tracks and more DSP then my HD 3 accel could handle. So the fireface works great.
