Default looking for a pre-configured system

just purchased digi001. can anyone suggest a computer system for dedicated usage (recording)?
have been looking at the dell line, can get high end P4 @ 2G w. 80MB (no monitor) for $1,400.

I would think about this for second. Dell may offer great business computers however, you may run into more problems getting consistent performance plus not to mention support for your software and hardware. Also Dell does not deal with AMD, which is the leader in processor performance on a Digi 001 based DAW.

i would go with AMD, better performance with the digi001 systems at this time.
