8.0.4 with Sibelius and Rewire not working
I have been working with some files that are synced with Sibelius via the Rewire connection. As soon as I installed the update from 8.0.3 to 8.0.4 my audio system totally chokes as soon as I press play (or a second or 2 later at best). I get the message "You are running out of CPU power. Remove some RTAS plugins or increase the CPU Usage limit in the Playback Engine dialogue. (-9128)" As soon as I disconnect Sibelius everything starts working properly again. I don't even have to close Sibelius. It can still be running along side PT.
Is there some kind of incompatability issue with 8.0.4, Sibelius and/or Rewire? I tried removing some of the the most cpu hogging plugins from the files to see if this would also fix the problem but it didn't do it. It's only Sibelius (or Rewire). Does anybody know how to fix this or should I just go back to 8.0.3? |

Re: 8.0.4 with Sibelius and Rewire not working
I think this is fixed now. Apparently the buffer size on my hardware settings got changed with the update. I don't remember having such a large buffer as that but I guess it is so.
