Default PT on a Xserve?

Does anyone know if you can running PT on a Xserve or is it even possible?

Sorry to not answer your question but I'm curious why you would want one?

The Xserve has one less PCI slot, one less drive bay, is probably not as quiet as a MacPro (less space for fans, smaller fans need to run faster?), and costs much more to get faster processors ($1800 option for 3GHZ!!), less capable graphics, etc..

About the only thing it has going for it is the small, rack mountable formfactor and extra built in redundancy..

I wasnt exactly sure if it would work. but if one is traveling for work where you need a powerful portable system. not just another laptop. i would consider having a system in a 4u rack. I would config it this way.

- top two spaces go two the interface
- Xserve
- slide out display in the last space.
